Sapling's RS485 communication gives you exceptional flexibility and cost effectiveness without sacrificing accuracy. The system runs on two pairs of wires: one pair for power, one pair for communication. Using 24 or 110 volts, the clocks have the ability to be powered locally for maximum versatility in almost any application. The clocks receive a digital correction as often as once a second to ensure constant correction, preventing deviation. Using advanced optocoupler technology, Sapling's RS485 system keeps the communication lines isolated; this prevents damage from lightning strikes or power surges.
